Vision & Mission

As full time missionaries with MTW in partnership with ThirdMill, we share in both their visions and missions for ministry.

About MTW

Missions Rooted in the Church

MTW sends nearly 700 Christian workers to 97 countries all over the world who are committed to the establishment, growth, and maturity of the church. All that we do flows into, rests within, or flows out of the local church.

MTW’s vision is the Gospel of the kingdom advancing throughout the world. Their vision is making disciples among all nations.

What makes MTW attractive to us is a shared set of values:

  1. 1)  Church: The establishment, growth and maturity of the Church,
  2. 2)  Grace-Based: Community life and ministry shaped by God’s grace for us in His Son, Jesus Christ,
  3. 3)  Reformed & Covenantal: A ministry that is guided, inspired, and shaped by our theology,
  4. 4)  Mercy, Justice & the Love of God: a love for God that is demonstrated through acts of mercy and justice.

About ThirdMill

In partnership with ThirdMill, we hope to disciple up-coming church leaders.

Thirdmill was created because many Christian leaders around the world needed to be trained in their own lands. With the help of Dr. Richard Pratt and a number of others who shared this vision, Thirdmill was launched in 1997 to create multimedia curriculum for Christian leaders everywhere. Their materials are in English, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, and Spanish, plus Indonesian, Hindi, Romanian, French, Farsi (Iran), Greek, Amharic (Ethiopia), and Telugu (India).

Thirdmill’s mission is to prepare Christian leaders to lead a transformation of the world into God’s Kingdom by providing biblical education, for the world, for free.

They provide free Christian education to hundreds of thousands of pastors and church leaders around the world that lack sufficient training for ministry. The curriculum consists of three central elements: graphic- driven videos, printed instruction, and internet resources. They distribute their curriculum through online streams and downloads; satellite, cable and terrestrial broadcast TV; radio; smartphone apps; USB flash drives; SD cards; and DVDs.

We are thrilled to have access to this resource and share it with Navajo church leaders.

About the Navajo Nation

The Navajo Nation includes 27,425 square miles of land that extends into New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, and borders Colorado, which makes Navajo the largest geographic land base American Indian reservation in the United States, with a population of 173,667 as of 2010. Navajo Nation claims over 300,0001 enrolled tribal members and is the second largest tribe in population, following the Cherokee Nation.

About Flagstaff

A border town to the Navajo Nation, and a college town filled with young leaders.

Flagstaff sits just 30 minutes west of Leupp, AZ where we spent a few weeks immersing ourselves in Navajo culture and language learning. We hope to stay closely connected with the family in Leupp. Two of the young men from that family live in Flagstaff.

Three colleges will provide many opportunities for relationship building and recruiting. Coconino Community College offers Navajo classes that we plan to enroll in so we can continue learning Dinè Bizaad. Indian Bible College is unique in that it is one of a few institutions that has as its central mission the training of Native Americans for Christian Leadership. Northern Arizona University is practically across the street from the church we plan to attend.

  1. Hi DH,
Don’t know if you remember us or not. We live in BC Canada but we go to FOG church when we are living in Pheonix for 6 months of the year.
Just wondering if you could send us an email explaining your ministry in detail.
Look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours in Christ.
